As Superintendent Minister I have pastoral oversight of the Circuit, leading our Circuit Staff, chairing the Circuit Leadership Team meetings and the Circuit Meeting.

I am thrilled to be back on sound ground with you all here in the Black Country Circuit. I have the privilege of a long and engaging ministry. My call to preach, founded upon growing up in church in Birmingham when I was around 15 years old, was followed some years later by a call to ordination. I've been Superintendent Minister in all but my first Circuit and I feel blessed by the joys and challenges of the role

I'll be living alone in Tipton most of the time. My partner, Ruth, is a Primary School Specialist TA and lives in our home on the other side of the West Midlands District to provide for the youngest of the children under our care who are still working through GCSEs and A levels. The rest of the kids are at university or working these days, but will keep turning up for food!

I am a drummer, both in worship and in facilitating drum circle praise in churches, schools and at other events. My thirty odd African drums travel about with me. You may be playing one soon! I also teach folk to make dough for bread and pizzas and in starting Bread Churches as a means of sharing the Gospel in new places with new people. My portable bread church kit travels with me. I love to DJ. I have all the PA & lighting to do so, and you may well find me doing discos for schools and in various social contexts locally. Most of all I love to be in worship with folk and in serving our diverse local communities together.

God has been good in giving me lots to do, but in the end the greatest gift is the call to be a disciple and walk the ways of Jesus. I look forward to sharing that journey with you.

I have pastoral oversight for all the churches in the Circuit, but directly for  Central & Woods, New Road, and Tipton Green Methodist Churches and St. Andrew's Church (a Local Ecumenical Partnership with the Anglican Church).
