Welcome our new Superintendent Minister!

Happy New Year!

Today sees the start of a new Connexional Year – and with it a new Superintendent Minister for our Circuit, Revd Peter Powers.

Peter joins us from the Wigan Circuit, but is somewhat coming full circle as his call to preach was founded upon growing up in church in Birmingham when he was around 15 years old. Welcome Peter! We are looking forward to working with you, journeying with you, and getting to know you better. We can guarantee a friendly Black Country welcome wherever you go!

Peter’s Welcome Service is this Saturday, 5 September, at New Road Methodist Church starting at 4pm. In our great Methodist traditon, the service will be followed by tea and cake. All are welcome to join us!
