Welcome Service for Peter Powers

On Saturday 5 September 2026 we officially welcomed, and celebrated the ministry of, Revd Peter Powers as our new Circuit Superintendent, and his partner Ruth.

We met at New Road Methodist Church for a service of welcome and celebration, full of joy, singing, worship, an angelic sketch - and drums! The service was led by Revd Rachel Deigh, our District Chair, and was followed by refreshments with plenty of cake - another fine Methodist tradition!
